Lawyer specialising in criminal law since 1984, Éric Dupond-Moretti practised many years at the Lille Bar. He is now a member of the Paris Bar.
Recognised as one of the leading specialist in Criminal Law, he has pleaded many major high-profile criminal cases over the last thirty years and has distinguished himself by the impressive number of acquittals he obtained before the Criminal Court (“Cour d’assises”).
He also regularly appears before Courts of foreign countries (Monaco, Belgium, Switzerland, Morocco, Algeria, etc.) as well as International Tribunals and Courts, such as the European Court of Human Rights and the Human Rights Committee of the United Nations. He speaks Italian.
Éric Dupond-Moretti was elected Secrétaire de la Conférence des avocats of the Lille Bar, and is the author of three books: Bête noire, Le Calvaire et le Pardon and Directs du droit, published by Editions Michel Lafon.
